General Secretary (m/f)

We are looking for one of our clients, a large company located in the Center of Luxemburg, for the following profile:

GENERAL SECRETARY (f/m), permanent contract type, full time

Primary purpose and function:

The General Secretary will support the CEO and its Executive committee in organizing, structuring and following-up key governance meetings (Board of Directors, Executive Committee, etc.). He/she will also have oversight on the company Secretariat supporting the organization with administrative matters, today composed of two employees.

 Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the CEO & its Executive committee in facilitating effective decision-making through the preparation of key executive meetings (agenda, documentation, etc.) and their follow-up (meeting minutes, share actions with individuals, ect.)
  • Serve as liaison between staff, executives and CEO, regarding company climate, employee well-being, project updates and planning.
  • Support the implementation and ensure the enforcement of the revised organization and related governance structure
  • Assess inquiries directed to the CEO, determine the proper course of action an delegate to the appropriate individuals to manage
  • Oversee daily operations through collaboration with senior management and department leaders, as well as overseeing and coordinating an array of administrative tasks from managing calendars, generating correspondence, maintaining hard copy and electronic files, planning and coordinating annual corporate meetings, ect.

Job Requirements and Qualification:  

Minimum Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar field

Preferred Experience: 5+ years in a business, consulting or executive management role

Languages: French & English speak and written required. German and Luxembourg is a plus
